The Petroleum Minister Murli Deora said the government may decide on a mechanism to fix prices of petroleum products after an expert committee on fuel pricing submits its report this week. Speaking to reporters, Mr. Deora said the government is trying its best to see that prices are not raised. Mr Deora said a decision on fuel pricing was likely only after the Kirit Parikh committee submits its report this week.
