In Himachal Pradesh, 5093 people of special categories cast their votes through postal ballot for state assembly elections. Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Manish Garg said, total 43,143 forms have been received completely in all respects including special category of 4330 ballots of 80 plus and 763  forms of Divyangjan have been received across the state.<br />''<br />''Mr. Garg said, a total of 1 lakh 70 thousand 403 Form 12-Ds were issued to people above 80 years of age, disabled (PWD) voters and those employed in essential services in the state to make the electoral process inclusive and ensure the participation of special category voters.
