The Sports Minister Dr. M.S. Gill has expressed confidence that Commonwealth Games project will be completed in time. After reviewing the construction work of Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi on Monday, he said that this stadium will become the world's best stadium and it will be pride of India. He said that the work is in full swing and Germany, Switzerland, Mexico and America are providing technical help in making this stadium. He said that the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh is taking keen interest and monitoring the preparations. The Sports Minister said that opening ceremony of this game will display India's rich cultural heritage. He informed that Bharat Bala Group and eminent personalities Shayam Benegal, Javed Akhtar and Prasoon Joshi have been associated with the cultural programmed going to be presented during the games.
