The Chief Minister of Delhi, Ms. Sheila Dixit, has said that all infrastructure facilities for Commonwealth Games will be completed in time. In an interview to All India Radio she said that her Government, Sports Authority of India and Ministry of Tourism will complete the work as per schedule. In reply to a question she said that security is the top priority and the Ministry of Home Affairs is taking all steps in this regard. Other priorities are better traffic management, transportation, and better awareness among Delhites on civic sense. A campaign in this regard would be launched by the Delhi Government. The Chief Minister also said that better electricity supply and other amenities would also be ensured at the Games venues and other parts of the capital. She hoped that the participants will leave for their countries with a good image of India.
