India Skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni today exuded confidence that India will be the top contender to win the champions trophy starting from 22nd of this month in South Africa. He was addressing a press conference in Mumbai today. Dhoni said that they are well prepared for champion's trophy and are ready to face every team in the tournament. Commenting on the return of opener Gautam Gambhir, Dhoni said his return will strengthen the batting line-up. Gambhir who was rehabilitating from groin injury was declared fit today for the upcoming Champions trophy. He said that they are concerned about the performance and not about the rankings. He further said that India's IPL stint in South Africa gives them the confidence. Dhoni however said that the team will miss speedster Zaheer Khan but hopes to have Sehwag back soon. India has been placed along with Australia, Pakistan and West-Indies. India will play their first match of the champion's trophy on 26th of September against arch-rival Pakistan. India was declared joint winner with Sri Lanka in the 2002Champions Trophy.
