Hectic political activity is on for government formation in Uttrakhand. Both Congress and BJP Legislature Parties are meeting in Dehradun this afternoon to elect their leaders.

AIR correspondent adds since both the parties are short of absolute majority , efforts are on to woo the Members of other parties.

The Congress has emerged as a single largest party with 32 Members and the BJP in close race with 31 seats in the 70 member house.
