Germany have booked their semi-final berth in the World Cup Football tournament. In the third quarter-final in Cape Town today, they crushed Argentina 4-0 with a sparkling display of attacking football.

A double from Miroslav Klose on his 100th international appearance, along with goals from Thomas Mueller and defender Arne Friedrich ensured the convincing victory over a lacklustre Argentina.

Klose has now scored four goals in the on-going tournament. He now has 14 World Cup goals, just one short of Ronaldo's all-time record.

The last quarter-final match between Spain and Paraguay will be played at Midnight tonight in Johannesburg.
