Railways Minister Piyush Goyal has said that over one lakh 20 thousand posts are vacant in the railway and 50 per cent will be field up in the next six to nine month. <br/><br/>Replying to supplementaries in Rajya Sabha, Mr Goyal said, normally filling of vacancy process takes over a year but the Ministry will speed up the process. The Minister said, new technology is being used to monitor tracks and as an interim measure. <br/><br/>Mr Goyal said, the Railways has also taken a policy decision to remove all unmanned level crossings on heavily congested routes by September next year.
