<br/>In West Bengal, at least 50 persons were killed and more than one hundred injured in a train accident near Sainthia Station in Birbhum district early this morning. Eastern Railway sources said, the incident occurred when 3148 down New Coochbehar-Sealdah Uttarbanga Express rammed into a stationary 3404 down Bhagalpur-Ranchi Vananchal Express at 1.54 am. Our Kolkata Correspondent reports that some of the injured passengers are in critical condition.<br/> <br/>Railway Minister Mamta Banerjee has rushed to the accident site.<br/>Eastern Railway has opened control rooms following the accident.
