In Western Nepal, five persons are missing after a cable broke off while crossing the Trishuli river at Chinaghat in Dhading district on Monday. Reports say, four men and a woman fell into the river after the twine snapped while returning home after selling vegetables at a collection centre. Five others were rescued. The people of the area had met the Local Development Officer of Gorkha district, a month ago and had complained about the dilapidated condition of the cable.
