5 people succumbed to COVID19 in Manipur so far

<span style="color: #222222;">In Manipur 5 persons have succumbed to COVID19 in the State so far. Considering the spike in cases in the State through local transmission, the State government has decided to extend the ongoing statewide complete lockdown for another week starting from this afternoon.<br />''<br />''Manipur has registered 2505 total positive cases and the active case is  829 till yesterday. The pandemic has claimed the lives of five persons within two days being yesterday the highest mortality with 4 deaths in a day.  Considering the increased number of positive cases and mortality rate, the State government has decided to extend the ongoing statewide complete lockdown starting from this afternoon till August, 6. The complete lockdown guidelines even imposed restrictions on opening of those locality based retails shops dealing with essential commodities like groceries for daily use, vegetables, fruit, milk booth, poultry meat and fish during the lockdown period. The State has been in complete lockdown from 23th July after a State Cabinet meeting decided to take measures to prevent further spreading of Coronavirus. </span><br />
