In Uttar Pradesh five more deaths have been reported due to the deadly encephalitis also called Brain Fever in eastern districts. With this, the toll due to the disease in the state has gone up to 181 since January this year. AIR correspondent quoting health officials says that 176 patients are undergoing treatment in different government hospitals at present.
