In Uttar Pradesh, five more children died due to encephalitis during past 24 hours in BRD Medical College Hospital of Gorakhpur. With this, the death toll due to Encephalitis has mounted to 297 since January this year. Our Gorakhpur correspondent quoting heath officials reports that as many as 29 new encephalitis patients, mostly children have been admitted to BRD Medical College hospital during past 24 hours. Over 300 encephalitis patients are being treated at the Hospital.
