In Orissa, at least five Maoists have reportedly been killed during exchange of fires between the red-ultras and security forces at Podapadar in Narayanpatna block of Koraput districts today. Security forces fired at the Maoists when they tried to ambush in the nearby areas of Podapadar. Security forces have also ceased landmines and other explosives from the area.<br/>Koraput Superintendent of Police, Mr AK Sahu, said the death of Maoists is yet to be confired. The casualties of Maoists might be between five to ten, he said.<br/> Meanwhile, high alert has been issued in Narayanpatna and combing operation has begun to nab the Maoists.<br/> <br/>
