In Pakistan, five low-intensity blasts rocked a thickly populated area in Lahore tonight, injuring three persons, including a policeman. Official sources said the blasts, which were of low- intensity in nature, occurred near Tabi city police station.<br/><br/>TV channels reported that the low-intensity blasts Shattered the windowpanes of some of the houses and shops in the area. No group has claimed responsibility for the blasts.<br/><br/>In another incident in northwest parts of the country today, two paramilitary personnel were killed and three passers-by injured when a landmine went off in the Saafi area of Mohmand Agency.<br/><br/>Following the incident, security forces conducted a search operation in the area and demolished the houses of five militants and defused three more mines. Officials said local militants had claim responsibility for the attack.
