In Mumbai, five labours were killed as the lift of an under construction building collapsed in Mumbai. One person is seriously injured and admitted at Sion Hospital. The building, named Rustom Tower is under construction opposite Ruia Collage at Matunga. Some labours were going up by lift when it suddenly came down and fell on 6 labours. Fire brigade jawans have reached the spot. Rescue work is going on. Police are investigating the matter. Deputy Commissioner of Police Sanjay Baviskar said that police will file criminal offence case against the contractor for the negligence in standard of work.’
