Five labourers, including a woman, were killed and four injured when an under-construction wall near which they were working collapsed over them at C K Palya area in Bangalore on Wednesday. Seven of the victims hailed from Bihar. According to Regional Fire Officer, the mishap occurred when the construction workers were plastering the 20-feet high wall. He said that five bodies have been recovered so far. The injured have been rushed to hospital. The State Home Minister R Ashoka announced a compensation of one lakh rupees each to the next of kin of those killed and 25 thousand rupees each to the injured.
