In Uttarakhand, five persons were killed in a road accident last night. The mishap occurred when a jeep in which they were travelling fell into a gorge near Joshimath of Chamoli district. According to the police, the driver lost control of the vehicle during a sharp bend and the vehicle skidded off the road falling into the khud. The jeep was going to Pipalkoti from Gopeshwar. All the deceased were resident of Ganae village of Chamoli District.
