In Pakistan, at least five people lost their lives and another three including a policeman suffered injuries during incidents of shooting in Karachi over the last 12 hours. Local media report said unknown armed men gunned down a man in Korangi Town. Another elderly man was shot to death near a railway track in Gulshan-e-Iqbal. Police said the incident was a target killing. Unidentified assailants opened fire on another man, killing him on the spot near Chuna Bhatt. Spokesman Sunni Tehreek (ST) said the deceased was their party’s activist. In Nazimabad early in the morning, some unknown attackers barged into a house and opened fire.
