In Jharkhand, five persons, including a woman and two children, were killed when lightning struck them at different places in Dumka district last night. District Superintendent of Police said that three persons were killed at Raksha village when hit by lightning while standing under a tree due to rain. He said two others lost their lives at Bailidhab and Khirghana villages when struck by lightning while they were working in the fields.
