In Rajasthan, a bridge under construction on Chambal river near Kota collapsed this evening. Initial reports say, five persons are killed and seven injured. More than 50 people are feared trapped in the debris. According to IG Police, Kota, Rajiv Dasot, some persons have been rescued and admitted to different hospitals of Kota. Relief and rescue operation has begun on a large scale and senior Police and administrative officials have reached the site. Army has been called in to help in Rescue operation. <br/>The State Chief Minsiter, Mr. Ashok Gehlot has announced an exgratia payment of two lakh rupees each for the next of kin of those killed and one lakh for the injured. <br/>
