In Assam, five CRFP personnel died on the spot and 44 were injured when suspected NDFB militants triggered a powerful IED at Bhalukdubi forest area in Goalpara district this morning. The bus carrying the CRPF personnel was proceeding to Goalpara town from Agiya when the blast went off around 8.00 AM. Police said the IED was planted on the National Highway and it was triggered through a remote control device by the militants hiding in the forest.
