A 5.7 magnitude earthquake rocked parts of northern India, Afghanistan and Pakistan on Monday afternoon. MeT Department told AIR that earthquake which was recorded at 3.20 pm Indian time, had its epicenter somewhere in Hindukash mountains in Afghanistan. The tremours lasted for few seconds and were felt in Delhi, Kashmir valley and parts of Rajasthan. There was no report of any loss of life or property.The earthquake of similar magnitude shook buildings in the Philippine capital also.
