5.3 magnitude quake shakes central Afghanistan

A moderate earthquake of 5.3 magnitude shook central Afghanistan early Monday. The US Geological Survey says, the quake was centred about 190 kilometres North West of the capital, Kabul at a depth of ten kilometres. There were no immediate reports of casualties.<br/>
