An earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale hit Hindu Kush Region in northeast Afghanistan at 20:32 yesterday, according to European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre. No casualties has been reported so far as strong tremors were also felt even in Kabul, the capital city, which is 278 km away from the epicenter.
