An earthquake, measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale, rocked Srinagar and its adjoining areas this morning. A Met department spokesman told UNI that tremors were felt at 1155 hrs and lasted for a few seconds. Its epicenter was somewhere in China border. Official sources said there was no report of any loss of life or damage to property in any part of the Kashmir valley.
