In China an earthquake of 5(point)1 magnitude today hit Yangbi County in southwest Yunnan Province. China Earthquake Networks Centre said that quake struck at 7:55 am local time. <br/><br/>State-run Xinhua news agency reported that the epicentre of the quake was at a depth of about 12 kilometres.

A 5.1-magnitude earthquake jolted the west part of northwest China's Qinghai Province today morning. According to the China Earthquake Networks Center, the epicenter, with a depth of 10 kilometre, was monitored in Haixi Mongolian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. However, there was no report of damage or casualty.
