A magnitude 5.0 earthquake has occurred on the coast of Chile, in the northern region of Coquimbo. The US Geological Survey said that the quake hit early morning today at a depth of just over 28 kilometers. <br/><br/>The National Seismological Center of the University of Chile put the earthquake's magnitude at 5.2, saying that it was also felt in the coastal region of Valparaiso. There were no immediate reports of damages or casualties.<br/>
