The fourth SAARC Home and interior Ministers meeting is being held in the Bhutanese capital Thimphu today. Home Minister P Chidambaram will attend the meeting along with his counterparts from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. The meeting will consider the report of the home secretaries who met on Friday.The Ministerial Meeting will focus on strengthening regional efforts towards preventing and combating terrorism, the abuse of illicit traffic of narcotic drugs and human trafficking.
