In Uttar Pradesh, voting comes to an end in 56 constituencies in fourth phase of election. An estimated 57.4 per cent vote was cast in this phase of keenly-watched election.AIR Lucknow correspondent reports that as per reports available maximum 52 percent polling was recorded at Farrukhabad district followed by 51 percent each in Fatehpur and Unnao and 50 percent each in Chhatrapati Sahuji Maharaj Nagar, Kannauj and Raebareli districts.Minimum 45 percent polling was reported from Chitrakoot district. At most of the polling booths people in good number were seen in queue waiting their turn to cast votes. A total of 967 candidates including 91 women are in the fray in this phase of elections. In all 11 districts increase in polling is recorded in the comparison of 2007 assembly and 2009 Lok Sabha elections in the state.
