4th ODI: India wins toss, elects to bat

India were 9 for none in 2 overs against South Africa in the fourth ODI of the Gandhi-Mandela series in Chennai when reports last came in. Earlier India won the toss and elected to bat first. This is must win match for India. The hosts are trailing 1-2 in the 5-match series as they had lost the Rajkot ODI by 18 runs on Sunday.India have kept same playing eleven. South Africa have made two changes in their team. As Morne Morkel and in-form JP Duminy are injured, right-arm pacer Chris Morris and slow left arm orthodox bowler Aaron Phangiso have come in as their replacements. Proteas star batsman Hashim Amla could enter the record books in this game as he is just 22 runs away from being the fastest to reach 6,000 ODI runs. A victory for South Africa today could secure them their first-ever bilateral series win in India, while MS Dhoni will be looking to turn the tables and avoid a second straight ODI series defeat after a 2-1 loss to Bangladesh.
