The 4th batch of Kailash Mansarovar Yatris will leave for Almora from New Delhi on Saturday. The re-discovered ancient route from Gala to Kathgodam can now be used as an alternative to the existing route in case of an accident. <br/><br/>Despite being the most difficult and challenging of journeys, the enthusiasm of the Mansarovar yatris is overwhelming. 59 yatris from all over India are going to be a part of this 4th batch.<br/> <br/>The scenic and almost divine Yatra passes through Dharchula, Tavagat, Mangti, Gala, Budhi, Gunji, Kalapani, Navidhang and Lipulekh in the Indian territory to reach Kailash Mansarovar in China. <br/><br/>Yatris will brave extremely low temperatures and high altitude diseases like High Altitude Illness, Acute Mountain Sickness, High Altitude Cerebral Edema and High Altitude Pulmonary Edema. But then it is the divine attraction that drives these yatris towards the heavenly abode of Lord Shiva.
