4,89,449 health care and frontline workers vaccinated so far in Bihar

In Bihar, four lakh 89 thousand 449 health care and frontline workers have been vaccinated so far. No side effect of the vaccine has been reported from any part of the state. As per data released by Union ministry of health and family welfare 80.06 percent of the targeted health care beneficiaries have been administered the first dose in Bihar till date.<br />''<br />''The state government will start administering the second dose of Covid -19 vaccines to healthcare workers from tomorrow.<br />''<br />''Meanwhile, COVID-19 recovery rate has improved to 99.17 percent in Bihar. This is 1.85 percent more than of the national average. Two lakh 59 thousand 513 patients have recovered from the COVID-19 infection in the state so far.<br />''<br />''The number of active cases is continuously declining. Currently, only 652 patients are receiving treatment at various hospitals.
