In Andhra Pradesh, the 48-hour long Bandh called by Telangana Rastra Samithi – (TRS) demanding statehood for Telangana is total and in progress.<br/><br/>Stray Incidents of violence were reported today from several places through out the region including Hyderabad.<br/><br/>The State Road Transport Corporation has suspended its services on the second consecutive day on Monday posing severe inconvenience to the commuters. The bandh will continue till this midnight.<br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports, life remained paralysed in Telangana region of Andhra Pradesh as the 48-hour long bandh called by the TRS has evoked total response.<br/><br/>Suicide attempts by few Telangana sympathisers, sporadic incidents of violence, widespread protests and road blockades across the region marked the bandh on the second day on Monday.<br/><br/>Barring minor incidents, it remained largely peaceful.<br/><br/>In Hyderabad, tension prevailed after the students have been lathicharged at Osmania University and deployment of huge contingents of Rapid Action Force in the Campus, where students had been organising relay hunger strikes in support of separate Telangana state.<br/><br/>Additional forces from other regions of the state have also been moved into the city.<br/><br/>Suspected miscreants have burnt two school buses in the city while incidents of damaging public and private property reported from several parts of the region.<br/><br/>The State Road Transport Corporation kept its fleet off the roads. The normal life has been paralyzed across region as business entities, schools, shops, banks and private offices remained closed causing severe inconvenience to the public. Meanwhile, the TRS President K Chandrasekhara Rao continued his fast on the ninth day at the Nizam Institute of Medical Sciences in Hyderabad.<br/><br/>The doctors who attended him for treatment told media that his health condition is stable. Necessary medication and supportive therapy are being continued to the TRS President. Chandrasekhara Rao has refused to call off his fast unless a clear statement made by the UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi.<br/><br/>In Legislative Assembly also, the TRS members have tried in vain to raise Telangana issue before the House taking up condolence motion for the death of former Chief Minister Rajasekhara Reddy.<br/><br/>A group of TRS MLAs have gone to speaker’s podium demanding the Government to move a resolution on separate Telangana state on the first day of the session on Monday.<br/>
