475 terrorists waiting to sneak into Indian Territory from LoC: Lt Gen Devraj Anbu

Northern Command Army Commander Lt Gen Devraj Anbu has said that around 475 terrorists are waiting to sneak into the Indian Territory from across the the Line of Control. The Army Commander said that recently there has been a rise in number of terrorists-related activities and training camps operating across the borderline.<br/><br/>Interacting with media persons after the Investiture Ceremony of the Northern Command in Udhampur, Jammu today the Army Commander said that as many as 250 terrorists are active on the other side of LoC opposite North Kashmir, while 225 of them are active opposite Pir Panchal area in Jammu region. <br/><br/>He informed that the security forces are fully prepared to meet any terrorists-related challenge and in the last one year period over 144 terrorists including the top commanders of many terrorist outfits have been eliminated in Jammu and Kashmir.<br/><br/>He added that besides this, Army has been successfully able to foil all infiltration attempts in the recent past.On the prevailing situation at LOAC in Ladakh, the General clarified that there is no major issue with China in Eastern Ladakh.
