46th edition of IFFI: 'The Clan' to bring curtains down

Argentina's film, 'The Clan' will bring the curtains down of the 11 days long the 46th edition of the International Film Festival of India, which will conclude today evening in Goa. Music Director A.R. Rahman will be the chief guest for the closing ceremony.<br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports, the 11 days long film festival has screened 187 films in various section form 89 countries.<br/><br/>Minister for State for Information and Broadcasting Col Rajvardhan Singh Rathore ,Goa Chief Minister Mr Laxmikant Parsekar along with galaxy of film stars will grace closing function.<br/><br/>Russian film Actor and Director Nikita Mikhalkov will be honored with the Life Time Achievement Award at the closing ceremony.<br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports that the Jury members of the film festival will announce the best film of the festival including other awards like Best Director, Best Actor both Male and Female, Special Jury award, Centenary award and the UNESCO -Fellini Award.
