At least 46 passengers on board an Iranian airliner have been injured as the plane catches fire while trying to land in the Mashhad airport. <br/><br/>According to Iranian channel Press TV, the Taban Airlines passenger aircraft, which had departed from the southeastern Iranian city of Abadan, was trying to land at the airport this morning when its tail caught fire. Airline officials say the incident happened due to bad weather conditions. The captain had to make an emergency landing because a critical patient was on board.<br/><br/>Reports indicate that at least 46 of the 157 passengers onboard the Russian-made Topolov have been injured in the incident. The plane's fuselage, one of the wings and the tail section has burned in the fire.
