45 per cent voters exercised their franchise in Bawana assembly by-polls in Delhi today. No untoward incident was reported.<br/><br/>EVMs equipped with Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) were used at all polling stations. Delhi's Chief Electoral Officer said 34 VVPAT devices attached to electronic voting machines today showed errors after which they were replaced.<br/><br/>The seat fell vacant after Aam Aadmi Party MLA Ved Prakash resigned his seat to join the BJP. Eight candidates are in the fray. The counting will take place on the 28th of this month.
