Mumbai have stormed into the Ranji Trophy Cricket final for the 44th time. In the second semi-final, Mumbai defeated Services, by virtue of their first innings lead, after the match ended in a draw on the additional sixth day yesterday. Only one inning was played in the match, in which Mumbai posted 454 for 8 declared, while Services were bundled out for 240 yesterday. As a result, 39-time champions Mumbai were declared winners, as they had a big first innings lead. Mumbai Medium Pacer Dhawal Kulkarni did most of the damage as he tore through the lower order by bagging 5 wickets. Mumbai Skipper Ajit Agarkar was adjudged man of the match for his brilliant 145.Mumbai will now face Saurashtra in the title clash, which is slated to begin from Saturday. Saurashtra had defeated Punjab by a massive 229 runs in the first semi-final at Rajkot.
