44,582 Corona cases in Maharashtra with 27,251 cases in Mumbai only

<span style="color: #222222;">Maharashtra again breached its earlier single-highest one-day COVID-19 tally after 2,940 persons tested positive for the novel coronavirus on Friday. Currently, there are 44,582 cases of coronavirus in the state with 27,251 cases in Mumbai only. on this backdrop with an effort to save time to reach to Covid-19 patient in the city, the Brihanmumbai municipal corporation decided to make use of the technology. It will help to reduce the waiting time of patients for ambulances.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The BMC is touted to use the platform of technology for app cabs in order to track the movement of government ambulances real-time and despatch them quickly where they are needed. Civic officials stated that the operators of app-based cabs would provide the BMC with a copy of their existing technology platforms after making suitable modifications in tune with its needs. The software will then be used to monitor the location of the ambulances and allow the people nearest to tend to the patients. This would speed up the process of transporting the patients to the hospital and back home.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">On the other hand, the Bombay High Court bench of Chief Justice Dipankar Datta and Justice S S Shinde has directed the Maharashtra government and the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation to consider starting a helpline for pregnant women after the lockdown ends.</span> <br />
