In Bangladesh at least 44 people have died and scores are reported missing after a boat capsized on the Shrigan river at Fulpur in Kishoreganj on Friday. Official sources told our Dhaka correspondent that the accident took place at around 9:30 in the morning when a Bhairab-bound engine boat collided head-on with passenger ferry.<br/><br/>According to survivors, the boat was carrying around 100 passengers. Rescue operations are on and 44 bodies have been recovered so far.<br/><br/>This is the second boat tragedy within the last seven days.<br/><br/>Earlier motor launch MV Coco partially capsized on last Friday leaving more than 80 dead.
