In Jammu and Kashmir about Forty-three children were injured, two of them seriously, when their school bus skidded off the road and rolled down into a gorge in Nowshera area of Rajouri district today morning. The bus bearing number JK 02D -3085 was on its way from Chingus to Nowshera when it met with the accident while negotiating a curve at Narian . The bus was carrying students of National Public School, Khokar. On hearing the news of the accident police parties rushed to the accident spot. Locals helped in the rescue operation and shifted 23 children to Nowshera sub-district hospital. According to Additional Superintendent of Police, Nowshehra, Dr. Koshal the condition of two school children is serious and they have been shifted to Government Medical College Hospital Jammu for specialized treatment. Some students who had received minor injuries were given medical aid at the accident site and sent to their homes.
