The government said 43(point)4 lakh taxpayers registered under State VAT, Central Excise and Service Tax have enrolled on GST portal for the new GST regime upto 31st of January 2017. Finance Minister Arun Jaitley gave this information in Lok Sabha today. <br/><br/>He said existing taxpayers can enroll themselves for GST on GST portat through internet. They can also enroll though Mobile application which can be downloaded free from the GST portal.
