In Meghalaya, 429 new COVID 19 cases were reported in the last 24 hours including 381 recoveries. Directorate of Health Services informed that five COVID 19 related deaths were reported, four from East Khasi Hills district and one from Ri Bhoi district. Out of the five deaths reported four of them were not vaccinated. The State has so far a total of 70,661 confirmed COVID 19 cases out of which 4,539 are active while 64,922 are recovered and 1,200 deaths. 11,93,80 people have so far been vaccinated in the State.<br />
