42 CRPF personnel killed in Dantewada maoist attack cremated with full state honour

In Uttar Pradesh bodies of most of the 42 Central Reserve Police Force CRPF personnel killed in the Naxal violence in Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh on Tuesday, were cremated today with full state honour at their respective native places.<br/><br/>In Gorakhpur when bodies of five personnel were brought at police lines where senior administrative officers including Divisional Commissioner Mr. P K Mohanty and IGP Surya Kumar Shukla received the bodies and offered floral tributes followed by a Guard of Honour. The cremation of all the five was held with full police honour.<br/><br/>In Sultanpur district Congress MP Sanjay Singh was present at the cremation of Dev Kumar Yadav in Sultanpur district. Tears were rolled on the faces of each and every one present at cremation of CRPF martyr. <br/><br/>In Jyotibaphule Nagar district CRPF personnel Tara Chand and Satish Chand who have sacrificed their lives were cremated with police honour in the presence of senior administrative officials and large number of local people. <br/><br/>Similarly bodies of other CRPF personnel were cremated at Agra, Azamgarh, Bijnore, Bareilly, Bulandshahr and Rampur districts.<br/><br/>AIR Lucknow correspondent reports that most of the CRPF Jawans sacrificed at Dantewada was from 62th Battalion of CRPF which has its head quarter at Rampur in Uttar Pradesh. Entire campus of the battalion is wrapped with grief and sorrow after this inhuman killing as family members of several slained soldiers resides at the campus. <br/><br/>Bodies 25 CRPF personnel were reached Lucknow by special flights on Wednesday. But no minister from Mayawati government was present at airport to receive the martyrs and offer their tributes and not even during cremation.<br/>
