On the ninth day of the International Film Festival in Goa, the movie Boy from New Zealand and Turkish film The Crossing are to be showcased in the competition section today. Meanwhile, President of Indian Documentary Producers Association Mike Pandey said in a media interaction that central government is likely to introduce a special channel on Doordarshan to telecast Indian documentaries and short films. Just another day left for the 41st International Film Festival to conclude. Short film awards are to be announced this evening. The best short film will get the Golden Lamp Tree award and five lakh rupees. Vasudha award and three lakh rupees will be given to best film on environment.
