4120 new COVID-19 cases in Karnataka, tally reaches 63,772

<span style="color: #222222;">Karnataka has reported 4120 new Covid cases and 91 deaths in the last 24 hours.<br />''</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The total number of positive cases has reached 63,772 and out of them 23065 people have been discharged after recovery. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The state has recovery rate of 36 percent and mortality rate of 2.8 percent. Bengaluru has reported 2156 new cases today and 36 deaths.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The State Government has issued a Government order today directing private medical institutions in Bengaluru to reserve 50 percent of their beds for COVID 19 patients and provide treatment at rates stipulated by the Government.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Quoting relevant provisions of the Disaster Management Act, the Government has directed in-charge of the private hospitals to make available resources of hospital beds for the purpose of admitting COVID patients referred by Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike authorised persons.<br />''</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Government has also appointed senior officers to ensure that the private medical institutions strictly adhere to this order issued today.</span><br />''
