The Union Home Minister Mr.P Chidambaram has called for doubling of the capacity of the police training institutes across the country. He has also stressed upon the needs for special schools for training of police personnel in tackling modern day crime and criminals. Mr.Chidambaram was speaking at the 40th All India Police Science Congress inaugurated today in capital Raipur in Chhattisgarh. The Congress is being organised by the Bureau of Police Research and Development and the government of Chhattisgarh which will continue till the 4th of this month. <br/>
