<span style="color: black;">The World Health Organisation (WHO) in its latest status report on COVID 19 situation in Bangladesh has said that almost 2/3 of Bangladesh districts fall under very high risk zone with infection rate of over 10 percent. During this period, 19 districts of the country reported a weekly case positivity rate of over 25 percent. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">In its weekly report for June 14-20, the WHO pointed out that during the week, Bangladesh reported a 55.3 percent increase in new cases of Corona compared to the week before. More than 67 percent of the reported cases were from the Dhaka division, the Dhaka city alone accounting for 57.8 percent cases. The week saw the highest increase of 114. 4 percent in new cases in the Dhaka division.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">The National Advisory committee on COVID 19 in Bangladesh on Thursday recommended a two-week long complete national lockdown to contain the sharp rise in infections in the country. It said that a piecemeal approach of lockdown in selective areas may not be effective in controlling the spread of Corona in the country.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">Meanwhile, on Thursday, Bangladesh reported 81 deaths and 6058 fresh corona cases over the last 24 hours. This is the highest single day number of new infections since April 12. The sample positivity rate declined slightly to 19.93 percent  from 20.27 percent a day earlier. A total of 30,361 samples were tested taking the total number of testing in the country to over 64 lakhs. </span><br />''  <br />
