In UP, around 40 labourers are feared trapped in the debris of an under construction chimney of Parichha Thermal Power plant in Jhansi. The chimney collapsed yesterday afternoon due to high velocity wind. The labourers were HAVING lunch in the shadow of chimney when it came upon them. The District Magistrate said that it is difficult to ascertain the number of dead as the rescue work and removal of debris is still going on. He however said that seriously injured six labourers have been admitted to the hospital. The detail is awaited.
